Dear Parents/Guardians:

Did you know... that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent?
OLBR has everything you would want in a school, and so much more! We are a family-friendly community, accepting and celebrating our diversity and culture. Students truly get a solid foundation in academics as well as in the Catholic faith. They leave here with the tools they need to be successful in high school and in life! We provide a nurturing environment, where students feel safe and secure. This feeling of security enables them to grow in knowledge, wisdom, and faith as they discover the unique and special individuals they are. At OLBR, they grow as people, developing their strengths and talents, receiving needed support to transform their weaknesses into strengths.
We are located in the heart of Buffalo’s Riverside/Black Rock neighborhood: a place full of rich history and close by to the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo Historical Society, Burchfield Penny Museum, Buffalo Zoo, and the Olmstead Park System.

We have a Title 1 program which enables students to get extra support in both reading and math. Our children, from grades Pre-kindergarten through the 8th grade participate in daily prayer and weekly liturgies. Students receive instruction in art, music, technology, library skills, and physical education. The Boys and Girls Club is housed on our campus and provides daily after school care for students five years old and up.

Tuition is affordable. You may qualify for tuition aid through the Bison Fund. All you need to do is submit an application along with your school registration. We offer both a Federal free/reduced breakfast and lunch programs for families that qualify.

It's my personal belief that the most important gift you can give your child is the gift of an education that builds both a spiritual and academic foundation that is most worthwhile and truly priceless. It's a fact that 98% of students who attended Catholic school go on to graduate from college. If you were blessed with a Catholic school education, don't you think your children and grandchildren deserve this priceless gift as well?

Sincerely,

Martha Eadie
